The holidays are the busiest time of the year for most of us! As we all can attest, it’s so very easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of constant bookings, especially the past several weeks, that we forget to count our own blessings.
We wish our clients happiness between frenzied bookings, tokens of appreciation passing back and forth, and a little something extra being slipped in with our tips, yet we find ourselves spent beyond belief. We power down lunch between a much-needed restroom break and mixing color or having dinner, likely the first substance of the day, at 9pm as the last client processes. We barely make it home, face-plant in bed with absolute exhaustion and then get up early the next day and do it all over again…and again and again….And with a smile on our face and picture perfect hair and makeup, no less.
So, for all of you wary beauty warriors who work your fingers to the bone during the holidays, we salute you! For your selfless efforts so others can look and feel beautiful for the holidays, we applaud you!
